Restorative Yoga

Restorative yoga is a gentle, slow and still form of yoga. It involves long, passive holds in a series of 4-6 restful poses. These yoga classes use a combination of therapeutic assistance such as guided touch, guided meditation and soothing music. 

Restorative yoga - even once a week - one can help us balance our occupied lifestyles and overcome stress-subjected physical emotional and mental issues. 

In Restorative yoga class one relies mostly on simple postures to support and comfort the body to stay in poses for a desirable period. This allows us to activate the parasympathetic nervous system (liable for the rest and digest operation), which combats the feeling of ‘tired’ and 'exhausted'.

 

Note: 

Mats, blocks and bolsters are provided.
