Hike Route: Changunarayan - Nagarkot

Date: Saturday, March 29

Assemble Time at Avata : 6:30 AM sharp followed by briefing.

Departure Time: 7:00  Am Sharp

Hike Starts: 9:00 AM

Exchange Rate: Rs 2500 (Non members), Rs 2300 (Members)

Yoga Instructor: Diwas Mayur

Schedule

6:30 AM:

  • Arrival at Avata Wellness Center.
  • Briefing about the day’s itinerary by the coordinator (15 minutes)
  • Distribution of fruits 

7:00 AM:

  • Departure from Avata by bus.

8:00 AM - 9:00 AM:

  • Arrive at Changu Narayan Bus Park.
  • Explore the historic Changu Narayan Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, known for its ancient architecture and cultural significance.

9:00 AM - 11:30 AM:

  • Start the hike from Changu Narayan.
  • 45 Mins of yoga session on the route at Trishul Dada
  • Enjoy a scenic route through lush forests and charming local village trails, experiencing the serene beauty of the region.

12:00 PM:

  • Reach Bastola Gaun and settle into a homestay.
  • Enjoy a delicious and freshly prepared local lunch.

1:00 PM - 2:30PM:

  • Visit Rani Jhula (Queen’s Bridge) and the nearby waterfall.
  • Relax and take in the natural beauty of the area.

2:45 PM:

  • Board the bus for the return journey.

4:00 PM:

  • Arrive back at Avata Wellness Center, concluding the day’s activities.

 

 

Note:

  • Please carry your own Water bottle, Raincoats, Insect Repellent, Energy bars, Sunscreen and Sunglasses
  • Yoga Mats are provided but we prefer you bring your own
  • First Aid is available in case of injuries
  • Use of fire, and plastic/disposal is discouraged during the hike
  • Please be responsible for your belongings
